Teeny tiny
snowflakes
my kisses
on your beloved hand
soft
like your skin
they say
so much
When words
escape me
us
i kiss your beloved hand
a contact
so tender
a bridge
so very healing
When i could not
kiss you
my heart spilt out
onto your beloved hand
When i could
your hand felt
warmer, softer
safer
And then
suddenly
once again
i could not
so my love
my devotion
reached for
that beloved hand again
But it shied
away or
offered itself
reluctantly
Has my
overflowing heart
crossed
a line?
Have my kisses
light as snow
sweet as dew
hardened you?
Heavy
strange
dead
it falls
again
and again
and yet again
it hits
Leaving no trace
other than
teeny tiny
tears
dissolve
evaporate
my little kisses
on your beloved hand.
